Steerqo starts from an observation: for a small or mid-sized business, finding the right partners still rests far too often on time, network and a lot of trial and error.
The client wanted to launch a new kind of B2B marketplace: connecting small and mid-sized businesses with the partners most relevant to their activity — whether clients, resellers or suppliers. Not one more directory, but a genuine search engine able to bring the right companies together.
The stake for Steerqo? Turning introductions into a data-guided process, accessible to organisations that have neither the time nor the resources to build a dedicated sales team.
To get there, they needed a team able to turn an idea into a product — and into an algorithm.
The real challenge came down to two requirements: the relevance of the matching, and building two kinds of access.
First we had to design a matching engine able to automatically identify the right partners for each company by analysing profiles, needs and activities. The matching had to be sophisticated, yet stay reliable and understandable for the user.
Then that engine had to be available everywhere: on the web and on mobile (iOS and Android), with a smooth, consistent experience from one device to the next — all on a technically solid foundation built to last.
1.Framing and UX
We built the Steerqo app around one core feature: partner discovery. The goal? Let a company identify, understand and contact a relevant partner without friction, from web to mobile.
2.Designing the AI recommendation engine
At the heart of the product, we built an AI-based recommendation engine that analyses company profiles and automatically suggests the most relevant partners: clients, resellers, suppliers. Introductions become proactive rather than passive.
3.Building the dual platform
Our team built the complete web and mobile application: detailed company profiles, matching engine, management of "synergies", and built-in messaging to start the relationship directly in the app.
Weekly sync meetings
Every week, a checkpoint let us validate progress, adjust priorities and prepare the next sprints.
Figma prototyping
Before coding, every journey (web and mobile) was prototyped interactively. Steerqo could try the interface for real, adjust the UX and validate decisions very early on.
Continuous test environments
As development progressed, we gave the client staging environments. As soon as a feature was ready, they could use it in real conditions and send us feedback so we could iterate fast.
The client stays in full control at every step and watches their product take shape in real time: no tunnel, no bad surprise on delivery.
To cover web, iOS and Android from a single codebase while building an AI recommendation engine, we picked several technologies:
- Mobile appFlutter (iOS and Android)
- Web appNext.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
- Back officeReact, Vite, Ant Design, TypeScript
- Back-end.NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, SignalR (real time)
- DatabaseSQL Server, Redis
- ServicesOpenAI (recommendation / matching), Firebase, AWS S3, Google Maps, RevenueCat, Brevo
- HostingDocker
